About The Role
The
Course Advisor role is pivotal in driving domestic higher education enrolments for
Ikon Institute of Australia (Ikon), EDU's higher education entity. As a Course Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting Ikon’s courses to prospective students and guiding them through the enrolment process. You will work closely with multiple internal teams to achieve student recruitment and retention goals.
This role will be based in our
Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/Adelaide campus.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Student Recruitment
- Provide accurate course, enrolment, and policy advice to prospective students via inbound and outbound calls, and web-based inquiries.
- Promote Ikon’s courses and ensure alignment with sales targets and objectives.
- Manage the student pipeline, nurturing leads and converting them into enrolled students.
- Capture accurate data in the CRM system (Salesforce) in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Future Students Team Leader to organise meetings and deliver course information to Ikon’s partners.
- Assist in delivering "Product Discovery" sessions with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support on student queries and liaise with stakeholders as required.
- Represent Ikon at recruitment events, including Open Days and career fairs (some out-of-hours work may be required).
Education, Experience, And Skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (postgraduate qualification preferred).
- At least 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing role (education industry experience preferred).
- Proven leadership experience, including supporting team development.
- Experience drafting, presenting, and reporting against strategic marketing and communications plans.
- Strong understanding of sales management, product management, and digital marketing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
