We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team, reporting to the
Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead based in Sydney. This role will ensure that merchandising standards align with the regional planogram and uphold the integrity of our brand image. As a brand ambassador, you will serve as the ultimate expert on
MAKE UP FOR EVER products, sharing your knowledge with Sephora Beauty Advisors and Cast Members. Additionally, you will support our
Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead in providing exceptional education to retail teams, Make-up Artists, and Beauty Advisors.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead to ensure product planograms are accurately implemented in retail stores.
- Assist in the setup of best-in-class merchandising for new product launches, events, and animations.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead regarding retail commercial activities, competitor actions, market trends, and in-store initiatives.
- Maintain optimal stock availability and ensure the merchandising space is tidy, reporting any deficiencies via the GO CANVAS store reporting app or directly to the Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead.
- Take on ad hoc brand projects as needed.
- Build and nurture strong commercial relationships at all levels, including Cast Members and Store Management.
- Understand the retail sales budgets of retailers within your territory, and work with the Key Account Manager and Regional Social Media Lead to develop local strategies to address budget gaps and opportunities.
Profile
Proven experience in the beauty retail industry. A qualification in Make-up or significant experience highlighting work on social media, or a portfolio showcasing your work. Strong make-up skills, with the ability to train and mentor Sephora Cast Members. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and inspire others to meet goals. Willingness to travel within Victoria to conduct training sessions and visit retail locations. Digitally-savvy, able to stay on top of makeup trends through social media, and amplify the brand through relevant online channels. A valid driver’s license and a fully functional car are essential. A current Australian passport and the ability to travel within the Asia Pacific region and New Zealand when required. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, presentations, and administrative tasks.
