THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a clear passion for building a high-growth startup. The Edtech Consultant role is responsible for selling Matific’s value proposition to inbound and outbound leads across the APAC region, primarily over the phone, and f2f when needed. The role will develop and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while executing sales strategies to secure deals that will exceed ambitious account acquisition and revenue goals. Experience in the education market is highly desired.
Over time, success in the role will open opportunities to take on more responsibility within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Run a full sales cycle and close new business to exceed quotas consistently.
- Responsible for prospecting new leads that help us grow, creatively and constantly looking for the best way to access the educational market.
- Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, driving new business with untapped customers.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Matific
- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
- Collaborative with our worldwide sales teams to develop best practices
- Use Salesforce to manage and track sales activities.
- Deliver to quarterly and annual targets
- Develop a range of opportunities
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience running a full sales cycle and closing business in the education sector, with proven measurable results
- Strong consultative sales skills, sales resilience and exceptional closing experience
- Collaborate daily with our sales and marketing teams to drive process improvements.
- High energy, motivated and driven to succeed
- A can-do attitude with hands-on approach
- A hunter mindset and always ready to raise the bar working approach.
- Management and prospecting of a strong and effective sales pipeline
