Only About Children Fairlight 2- Educational Leader Role
The Educational Leader has an influential and important role in inspiring, motivating and also challenging or extending the practice of educators. The role is a collaborative one, involving inquiry and reflection, which can significantly impact on the important work educators do with the children and their families.
This role will see you working in a blended role on the floor and off the floor, dedicating time to supporting the teams in enhancing educational practices, guiding and mentoring educators, and working in partnership with the leadership team. We place a significant importance on the impact you can make as an Educational Leader in helping children reach their full potential in collaboration with our educators & families. You will have opportunities to attend monthly Educational Leader meetings to connect and discuss best practice with others, giving you the support to succeed in your role.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher qualification
- Minimum 3 years (or equivalent) demonstrated leadership experience.
- Team-based, hands-on, collaborative approach to your practices.
- Ability to communicate and connect with families.
- An understanding of current regulations and frameworks to support your work
