About the role
Reporting to the Director of Centre of Excellence- Establishment, the Educational Manager is a key member of the Centre’s diverse leadership team. The Centre is a collegiate environment with staff contributing a range of complimentary skillsets to create a high functioning multidisciplinary team. This role contributes to the team by providing strategic oversight and operational management of designated educational programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of subject matter experts, drawing out their expertise and knowledge to driving strategic change and enhance education and training offerings.
- Align education and training with workforce needs, government priorities, and industry trends.
- Communicate confidently and persuasively with stakeholders, ensuring the Centre of Excellence remains a leader in sector-wide transformation.
- Ensure training remains cutting-edge and impactful by championing the practical implementation of educational philosophy, theory and research at the Centre
- Drive innovation in curriculum development, teaching strategies, and program delivery.
- Ensure program efficacy, overseeing quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement to maintain the highest standards.
About you
You are a strategic leader with a with a deep understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. A connector, collaborator, and mentor, you lead with integrity and bring out the best in others. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about education and committed to strengthening the sector.
- Deeply engaged with education and training - able to convey to internal and external stakeholders how research informs practice and how learning translates into real-world skills.

- Experience in leading within a multidisciplinary team environment, supporting collaboration and innovation.
- Strategic and outward-looking, able to think nationally and drive systemic change.
