MacKillop Education is a Catholic Specialist P-12 School that comprises of three school campuses; Geelong, Maidstone and Caulfield. It caters for children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. The students referred to MacKilllop have a history and/or ongoing experience of trauma and their needs are complex and diverse; self-regulation is difficult for our students and this can result in challenging social and emotional behaviours.

At MacKillop Education, we provide specialised educational support to children and young people who are: living in out-of-home care, at risk of disengaging from school, or currently accessing child protection and mental health services. Our mission is to break down barriers and ensure that every child has the chance to thrive—no matter their circumstances.
As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of MacKillop Schools and Education program. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, spearheading continuous improvement across our schools and programs while ensuring the highest standards of governance and compliance. Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated alignment with MacKillop’s commitment to child safety, values, ethos, and identity.
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and a commitment to promote cultural safety and empowerment.
- Extensive experience in education, leadership and governance and postgraduate qualifications in related fields

You Must Have a
- Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check;
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles)
