The Queensland Revenue Office (QRO) is currently seeking an experienced AO5 Learning & Development Officer to join the team in Brisbane. This role is based within QRO's Learning and Development (L&D) team which is responsible for leading continuous learning within a legislative environment.

As a Learning & Development Officer, you will engage as a collaborative and productive team member to plan, develop, deliver, review, and maintain a diverse range of Learning & Development (L&D) resources, projects and programs in line with organisational strategies.

Your typical day as a Learning & Development Officer may include:

Facilitating key training in a face-to-face, online, or hybrid capacity to deliver capability uplift to staff of all levels.
Developing customised training solutions to assist business areas based on prior training evaluation feedback and training needs analysis data.
Evaluating training and workshop survey data to recommend innovative solutions and improvements for implementation.
Supporting other L&D staff in face-to-face workshop delivery across various office locations.
Establishing, enhancing, and managing relationships with other business areas.
Completing end-to-end administrative duties in relevant Learning Management System (LMS).

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Substantial experience in a learning & development or educational environment
Highly developed communication skills
Knowledge of instructional design, facilitation methods, adult, applied and inclusive learning principles in producing L&D solutions through a variety of media and modes of delivery.
Intermediate skill using the Microsoft Office Suite (required), e-learning platforms (required), Adobe suite (desirable), and Microsoft power platform (desirable).
